The Mercia AI community just got a new branch — and this one’s built for everyone.
We’ve officially launched r/EverydayAIUK, a public subreddit where UK-based users can explore how to actually use AI in daily life and work. Whether you're running a business, fine-tuning a CV, writing content, managing tasks, or just curious about AI tools, this space is for you.
Why create this subreddit?
Mercia AI is all about helping people apply AI in real life — not just reading about it, but using it to save time, boost quality, and think differently.
Social media is great, but posts vanish fast. This subreddit gives us a structured, searchable space where:
People can ask questions about using AI tools
Share their own workflows, discoveries, or frustrations
Discuss ethical concerns or tech updates without needing to code
What can I post about?
Real-world uses of ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot, etc.
Automating tasks (emails, invoices, research)
Creating content with AI (CVs, blog outlines, social media captions)
AI tools for small business, jobseekers, freelancers, charities
Troubleshooting AI mistakes or hallucinations
Discovering lesser-known tools and add-ons
If it’s AI helping you do something faster, better, or smarter — it belongs.
Do I have to be an expert?
Absolutely not. Beginners, dabblers, power users — all are welcome. This is a UK-focused but friendly-to-all space, with a focus on practical AI, not hype or headlines.
What about Mercia AI?
I'll be checking in as the founder, but this isn’t a support channel. If you’re looking for help with a specific challenge or project, visit merciaai.com instead. This subreddit is about community, not consultancy.
Come take a look, join in, or just browse the threads. r/EverydayAIUK is now live — and you’re invited.
P.S. Already using AI in your job, studies, or hobbies? Share your favourite tip, trick, or tool in our first discussion thread!
